Chasing the light

reality fades

darkness all around

the wolf hears only silence

an absence of all sound

a shadow world abiding

infected with my pain

no more a place of magic

no sunshine only rain

my love when will you find me

tight hold me to your soul

renew my hope set fire my heart

the broken once more whole

tomorrow, yes, the sun will rise

blind eyes will once more see

the wolf will wake and chase the light

the glory yet to be
